St MarkCatholic School

St Mark is more than just a building; it's a vital part of the Prescott community fabric. Operating under the guidance of the Upper Canada Area, it has built a glowing reputation for fostering an inclusive and empowering atmosphere. From the moment students walk through the doors, they are encouraged to explore their potential, build lasting friendships, and embrace a love for learning that extends well beyond the classroom walls.

Beyond the core academics of math and literacy, St Mark places a significant emphasis on social-emotional learning. The staff works diligently to incorporate daily practices that build resilience, empathy, and strong collaborative skills among the student population. It's an environment where mistakes are viewed as learning opportunities, and every child is taught the value of respect and community responsibility.

Recognizing the need for ongoing growth, the leadership at St Mark has implemented robust, targeted support systems. While working to improve its current 3/10 provincial standing, the school offers smaller intervention groups and specialized reading programs tailored to help every child reach their full potential.

For families considering a move to the Prescott area, researching local schools is often step one. With its transparent approach to education and is currently ranked 2860/3052 in Ontario, St Mark remains a critical factor for local real estate decisions and a fantastic place for young minds to grow.
